2009 Citizens' Issue Survey

So I don't know how many of you got your State Representative Clay Ford 2009 Citizens' Issue Survey?

I filled mine out and mailed it today. I'm not sure that my responses will really count for much; especially since some of my answers contradicted themselves such as:
1) I marked that we should spend more on education, but then
2) I marked that I didn't want to be taxed more to pay for increased education.
Unfortunately there wasn't a box on there that said: Should we reduce our unnecessary expenditures and increase the efficiency of our government to free up wasted resources and then allocate this money to the education system? If so, I totally would have checked that box.

Anyway, let your voice be heard. Complete the form and provide them your honest answers; even if the answers contradict themselves. A survey of 21 questions directed at specific issues may not seem like much of a democracy, but at least they are asking. Let your voice be heard. Only by becoming involved, even in the smallest of democratic gestures, will we start to take back our government. A goverment Of the People, For the People, By the People -- isn't this the propaganda that we are taught? Show them that we will prove them right and let your voice be heard.

Better yet be a better American than me, and start your own survey to send to your local representatives and show them that the people do care.
